Sunday Morning Reading Circle with Don Paterson
The Sunday Morning Reading Circle runs on three Sundays: 12th/19th/26th April, 11am-1pm BST. Your ticket gives you access to all three workshops.
For many years, Don Paterson has run reading weekends at Stones Barn in Cumbria – and now brings this highly popular format to North Sea Poets.
This course is for writers and readers alike. The sessions are very simple: each week Don will lead a group discussion of 8-10 great poems by a wide range of canonical, 20th century and contemporary poets. These will be circulated in advance.
We’ll look at what the poems mean, how they work, how they relate to the longer tradition, and what they might teach us both as writers and readers. That’s it!
